The C.P. Cavafy Collection

C. P. Cavafy

In 2005 the Library received a large donation after the late Swedish hellenist and Consul in Crete, Finn Ståhl.

The donation consists of approximately 250 titles with relation to the Greek poet Constantine P. Cavafy (Κ.Π. Καβάφης), - his poetry and other works in several Greek editions and in translation into a number of languages. Furthermore there are many comments on Cavafy's work by well known Cavafy-scholars.

The material has been organized and is catalogued in the Nordic Library database.

It is presentable to scholars and researchers in the reading room of the Nordic Library.
